I know I haven't been around lately. Just too busy with the "day job", teaching wine and canvas, and working on commissioned work.
But I wanted to just pop in to say Merry Christmas to everyone, and to throw out an idea.
I sent an email to FAA about this had.
Next year I plan on changing my marketing strategies a little and one thing for sure will be to send thank you cards to everyone that buys an original OR print of my work directly or online. Since FAA is where I sell the most of my printed stuff I asked them why they couldn't put some kind of button on here that would allow artists to click on it, pick one of their own card images, pay for it, and have FAA send it to the customer that made the purchase. I'm sure they will not give up the name and addresses to us because we might use that to sell them artwork/prints from one of our OTHER POD sites. However, I'm sure they could make the aforementioned button so we could do this and they still keep the buyers information.
What do you guys think? If you think it's a good idea too maybe you could email them also.
Unless this feature is already available and I was just too stupid to find it on here.
Either way I hope you all have a VERY Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Kwanzaa, or whatever Pagan holiday you celebrate may it be everything you wish for. AND... May we ALL have a VERY prosperous upcoming New Year.
I will be posting this in a couple of the groups I belong to so I apologize if you get duplicates of it. LOL
Peace and Harmony,
Darren

painting by Fei A called Amnesia_sold. I thought this was a rather interesting work. part of the ear is dark in color perhaps symbolizing another plan of reality or something. There is also a face at the bottom of the ear as well as a small picture of a person inside the dark part of the ear.

Love this image by Terrie. I tried to copy and paste the image, but something went wrong. I did post to my FB page though.

@ Alexandra - please look at the directions for this thread. You are supposed to promote a piece of art from the person that posts above you, that would be me, not another piece from whom they promoted. Thanks.

Leif, I went to your page and took a peek at the landscapes galley. Actually, I scolled through at least three pages of the photos there.
I stopped at several, including this one:
And I found it remarkable, how similar the images that I stopped at, seemed to actual places I know of, in the rural regions of Southeastern Pennsylvania!.. If you ever have a trip tothe USA during the summer, try to include several days to explore the rural areas of Berks county especially, and also Lancaster county. There are scenic views that are so,exactly the same.
