My name is Marcia Lee Jones and I live in Portsmouth,NH. Welcome to my site as a member of FAA in photography. I have been interested in photography most of my life, but when my husband bought me a little digital camera about six years ago my interest really zoomed. I quickly moved up to an SLR and my passion really took off. To me the editing process is just as much fun as taking the shots. It allows you to be so creative and to see things in a whole different light. My main interests are abstracts, pop art and digital art, which means spending lots of time in industrial parks and abandoned buildings. These ventures are always exciting for me. All though I take pictures in other categories those three are my tops.
My two favorite galleries that I've had the privilege of being in over the last few years are the Banana Factory in Bethlehem and Phillips' Mill in New Hope, PA. I've also shown in outdoor art shows and had one of my pictures featured in the local newspaper. I find the biggest problem for photography, with me, in general, is getting myself known and I'm hoping these sites for artist will be helpful.
It is my hope that all who happen to see my work will let me know what they think and that it will inspire them enough to become a fan. Thanks for stopping by.
