I am pursuing my love and passion for photography at every opportunity. I reside in Northern Alberta, where the landscape is unique and the winters are long and frozen, much like the arctic. The unique landscape and long winters have pushed me to get outdoors at each and every opportunity that mother nature cooperates and this past year has lead to some amazing new photographs through the seasons. I also travel several times per year and take advantage of any opportunity to explore somewhere new.
I purchased my first SLR camera in 2001 and have moved into higher grade DSLR photography in the past two years, along with photo editing which i had not yet worked with until 2010. I am largely self-taught with photography, with some minor online courses and workshops taken to advance some technical skills.
My camera is attached to me wherever i travel, and i spend most of my weekends capturing portraits for local clients, but my true passion lies in exploring the outdoors and developing my artistic and landscape photography portfolio.
