Photography has always been a passion of mine ever since elementary school at Stratton School. I still recall my art teacher handing us all out old black and white cameras. Our homework: just go out and take pictures. We’d bring the camera back to class the following week and she would develop the film. Some of the photo’s she would put on display and use as a discussion for the class. I recall that being one of my favorite classes in school (aside from recess!).
My love of photography followed me from elementary school to junior high school and finally high school, but for some reason I never thought of it as a profession, just a hobby. The hobby did kind of fade from 1990-1999. Just work got the better of me, plus I found a new hobby: computer programming. For those nine years I looked more at computers than anything else. Then in 1999 something happened. My sister and her husband invited me to come with them to Disney World! I hadn’t been there since 1985 for “Grad Night”. Returning to Disney re-sparked my interest in photography. I wanted to capture the sights as much as I could. I wanted to share my excitement for being there with others .
Now, when my wife and I go on a trip, even if it is just down the street to a local park, I am always taking photos. I love coming home with them, and showing them to friends and family. I love hearing their comments and feedback on my photos, and I hope to hear back from you!
I hope you will take the time and look at my other photos:
