Indianapolis, IN - On Friday, April 25th at 6:00 pm Eastern Standard time (United States), Pete Nunweiler will be launch his own personal photography web site. Pete started his passion for photography in June of 2009 when he took his first photograph on the manual setting of a point and shoot camera that he had with him for his wedding/anniversary trip in the Smoky Mountains. He began to play with different settings until he figured out a little about how the different settings worked.
At his feet was a turtle that was walking around, so he figured it was time to test some of what he had learned. "In my mind I thought it would be funny to create an image with a slightly blurred turtle with everything else around it clear, making it appear as though the turtle was moving really fast." It turned out as he planned it and posted called the image "Turtle Racer."
Since then, he and his wife Kris have been learning as much as they can about photography and take great joy in spending time...
Valencia, Va - day 11 to 13 in April, was held in Spain the XI International Symposium on nature photography, with speakers from around the world. We talked about photography in endangered species and round table debates were made. Photo 2014 awards were also presented.

There are few persons who are capable of combining their passions and converting them into the work of their life. George Horak is a lover of the sea with a soul of a painter. The marine themes are not frequently seen and it is the first impact which attracts attention to his works, the second, and with a much greater force still, is the sensation the artist knows his theme intimately, to a point where the observer feels the dampness, the taste of the salt and the incessant sound of the waves, without ever having to travel to a sea shore.
