Play Ball, is a symphony of reactions to a bat and baseball. Ray has dedicated Play Ball to Omar Vizquel, who is perhaps the greatest short stop ever and who played in the major leagues until he was 45 years old. His reaction to a ball and a bat was indeed a symphony of action. It was an art form in itself.

Inauguration Of Glass Art Exhibition

My mom loved my art work when I was a child. That was the beginning for my love of art. Inspired early on by Walt Disney and later by Van Gogh, Matisse and Cezanne, I enjoy bold color, painterly strokes and beautiful imagery. I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a major in Graphic Design and an Art minor. I continued my education at Watkin’s Art Institute in Nashville studying under published instructors.
My deep love for the ocean inspired me to add real sand and shell fragments from our local beaches. I want someone who feels as I do to be able to take the beach home with them. I’m also an animal lover and enjoy painting pet portraits, birds and other wild life.
