Bellingham, WA - DJ Hask joind fine art america on March 2, 2014. DJ Hask is an artist who uses mixed media and digital art to provoke a viewer’s conscience and to advocate for expanded civil rights. He is a Bellingham native and has just returned to live in Bellingham after being away for the past 25 years (in San Francisco and Washington, DC).
DJ is best described as a social-conscious artist who shines a light on the hypocrisy displayed by our political and business leaders. He blends street art with current events to show why the public has to be vigilant in their oversight of government agencies and politically connected officials. He uses thousands of individual 'mosaic' photos in his art to show why one needs to "dig deeper" and look at the facts that usually go hidden to the public eye.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: DJ Hask is now selling all of his artwork at no profit. Repeat - he does not make a dime. He wants the public to have access to his work even if that means he will...
