...One of the first articles I published has been about the Botanic Garden in Palermo, a topic dear to me, remembering the herbarium I started at six years old and that my mother kept with care, thing I was unaware of, she shared it with me just a few years before leaving this world.
How couldn’t I be intrigued by the Japanese garden’s aestethic sense related to the Cha no yu?
The graphic project gives space to the images, in the last sixteenth in black and white you’ll find texts about Chadō, Joan and Katsura Rikyū in Italian and English,

Myrtle Joy received an Honorable Mention last night at the Suntan Art Center in Pass-a-Grill Beach on Gulf Blvd., Florida for her painting called "In the Midst of It". The painting is done in Acrylic water media. It is one of most favourite spots for mountain climbers.
Mount Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcano located in Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania. It has three volcanic cones: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. It is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain above sea level in the world: 5,895 m (19,341 ft) above sea level and about 4,900 m (16,100 ft) above its plateau base. It is the highest volcano in Africa and the Eastern Hemisphere.

Professional Photographers Of America Platinum Medalist For 2022

Channel Islands Harbor resident Mike Mercadante was named a Platinum medalist during the Professional Photographers of America’s 2022 International Photographic Competition.
Mercadante’s work will be on display at the upcoming Imaging USA, to be held Jan. 22-24 in Nashville. Imaging USA is one of the largest annual conventions and expos for professional photographers.
A panel of 36 jurors from across the United States selected the top photographs from more than 5,021 total submitted entries at PPA headquarters in Atlanta. Judged against a standard of excellence, 2211 images were selected for the Merit Collection and 1,013 (roughly 20%) were selected for the Imaging Excellence Collection — the best of the best. The Imaging Excellence Collection images will all be published in the “Excellence Collection” book by Marathon Press.

Light Oddities" are currently on display at the Woodstock Public Library through Tuesday, November 14, 2023. The artist Rebekkah Burtcher has been a resident of Woodstock for 15 years, and grew up in McHenry County. All of the images illustrate views of nature on canvas. The artist does little to no processing of her images, so the way the image appears is the way it was photographed. A number of these photos contain “sun stars,” which are sunbursts that create a glittery effect. Come see "Light Oddities" for yourself!
The Castle Book Shop In Mayo Supports Local Artist

The latest artist to be given spotlight in the Castle Book Shop, Main Street, Castlebar, is Ryan Ennis.
Ryan is an artist living in Balla. His work is currently on exhibition upstairs in the shop.
The exhibition started on March 20 and will last two months.
Ryan is known for his personalised pet portraits all over Ireland after he and his wife, Ciara, started a business as Paint and Paws.
Although Ryan specialises in pet portraits, for the exhibition in the Castle Book Shop he wanted to show more of his work.
There is a variety of work on show. Alongside a beautiful dachshund portrait, he has painted stormy seas, night scenes, and even a painting of the bookshop itself.
Ryan and the staff at Castle Book Shop welcome anyone to the shop to see the exhibition. All work on show is for sale.
