The 4th Annual Juried Show is here and the award winners will be honored at the Reception this Friday, April 10th from 6:00-9:00 PM at AOY. Receptions are open to all interested persons and everyone is welcome to drop by to view this collection of fine art and to meet the artists.

In addition to the six award winners here, there are 70 additional artworks and artists in the show. We look forward to seeing you at the Reception. If you can't make the Reception, be sure to plan a visit during our Gallery Hours which are Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12:00-5:00 PM every weekend in April through April 26th.

"Cloistered Classical Repetition," received an honorable mention. 433 pieces were submitted to the juror, in which 76 were chosen for the show.

About the Institute:

The Neuroscience Institute will be a site where the public will be able to learn about the science of the nervous system and the need for discoveries to address illnesses such as depression, obsessive compulsive disorders that affect a significant number of the population, yet with no marked improvements.

The goal of this first show is to raise awareness as well as funds to promote education in the field of neuroscience. New discoveries are not always easily accepted and the Institute plans to build an Educational Center for the public to learn about old and new discoveries in Neuroscience.
