I have finally decided to join Fine Art America as a new artist. To start out, I am submitting my photography for sale. These works come from reference photos I take out in the field in order to create a catalog for my paintings. Some of my photos are quite beautiful, so I decided to sell them along with my paintings. As I complete my paintings and complete different series of work, I will begin to include my paintings on Fine Art America.

I had posted this photo of Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin a few days ago talking about shooting bands and film stocks from the 1970’s. The people from Led Zeppelin had seen the post and contacted me about using the images on their website. Of course I told them, as long as they give me a credit! I sent the Cleveland Show to Sam the webmaster for the group and he published the images. One of the biggest bands of all time and a great live show. Take a look! 1975 Led Zeppelin! Info from Sam, Led Zeppelin webmaster below.

When Ken Kirsch was in
Grade 1, his teacher asked the students to draw the street where they lived. Kirsch drew the picture as though he were standing at the end of the street. At the far end of the picture the houses looked smaller and the road narrowed into a distant point.
“My teacher freaked out,” he
recounted. She held it up for the whole class to see and explained that Kirsch had drawn a perspective painting, something most 6 year olds can’t do.
Over the years, Kirsch continued to be interested in art.
By Grade 6, he was responsible for the backdrops in school plays. After high school (and a brief stint in the insurance industry), he enrolled in Seneca
College’s graphic design program.
As a student at Seneca,
Kirsch gained an appreciation
for painting, although he set it
aside to pursue a career in advertising.
