Artist Nancy Shuler was able to realize her dream of creating art in Chianti, Tuscany, as a fulfillment of a deep longing to immerse herself in beauty, atmosphere, in the way she experiences it—through her painting.
While there in July of 2015, she painted over ten landscape paintings in various places on the grounds using portable canvases and water and oil-based paints. The paintings incorporated her sense of atmosphere, as she immersed herself in the beautiful countryside. She worked in collaboration with the other artists as well in the studio of La Macina di San Cresci. http://www.chianticom.com/index.php/en/, ttps://www.facebook.com/lamacinaartistsresidency.

Nick the beloved basset hound has great big paws and loves to tromp through the woods. He has a great big nose and loves to sniff. He has a great big tail he loves to wag in time to his trot. Consequently, Nick's rambunctious romps usually end in a dirty and smelly grand finale.

Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter and the latest one, Rebelle. The primary section illustrates the images before and after digital painting techniques. When you click on an image, it will direct you to the site of the creator of that picture. Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction that typically features steam-powered machinery, especially in a setting inspired by industrialized Western civilization during the 19th century. Steampunk works are often set in an alternative history of the 19th century’s British Victorian era or American “Wild West”, in a post-apocalyptic future during which steam power has regained mainstream use, or in a fantasy world that similarly employs steam power. Steampunk perhaps most recognisably features anachronistic technologies or retro-futuristic inventions as people in the 19th century might have envisioned them, and is likewise rooted in the era’s perspective on fashion, culture, architectural style, and art. Such technology may include fictional machines like those found in the works of H. G. Wells and Jules Verne, or the modern authors Philip Pullman, Scott Westerfeld, Stephen Hunt and China Miéville. Other examples of steampunk contain alternative history-style presentations...

Vertu Hosts Juried Show, welcomes you to their new venue
It is clear from talking to them that Georgette and Prescott Grey had no idea in 1995 that the gallery they opened in Newburyport, Massachusetts, would be engaging in its fourth relocation 20 years later in Socorro, New Mexico.
While a bricks-and-mortar version of the gallery has not been continuously in existence over that entire 20 years, there has been a web presence for www.vertuarts.com for most of that time, as attested to by the web’s “Wayback Machine”. And as the pundits say, the more things change, the more they stay the same! Looking back to a web snapshot of late 1996, we see Vertu offering a “New...
