More Pastel Works Added By Joanna Kasprzak
July 2nd, 2009
Zlotow, Wi - More pastel works have been added by Ms Kasprzak - "life" - "prayer" - "him" and "toms trio" and more to add in the days to come
With "toms trio" featured here, Ms Kasprzak had moved away from her regular style to satisfy some of her critics who claimed that she was perhaps color blind - " sorry chaps, wrong". The next series will perhaps not include much color but will certainly open up the eyes and minds of some of her critics.
Ms Kasprzak would also like to take this opportunity here to thank all the entrants of the "art of nudity" contest that she is hosting. Said Ms Kasprzak, "the entries are of extremely high quality work, a fantastic showing by all the members who entered". The winner of the contest will have an article published in here with an image of the winning entry. Voting begins in one (1) day.

Tulsa, OK - This week we begin working on the second installment of Tulsa's Art Parkway. Our last installment, The Tulsa Spirit Monument has been installed at the center medium at Fairview and Denver Avenues. The new art will be created atop the circular traffic calming devise located at Denver and Marshall Avenues. This new one will echo the first in that it will incorporate mosaic panels in a brick 1/2 circle wall. Resting on top of the pice will be the whimsical metal work designs of dancing children created by Tulsa's own, Garden Deva. Caryn Brown, Mosaic artist and Margaret Aycock, Painter, will work together on creating the mosaic panels and will enlist the help of neighbors to create the borders around the panels. Look for the project to be finished this fall.
