Bologna, Em - L' immediata piacevolezza cromatico compositiva dei lavori di Rinaldi erroneamente potrebbe indurre a soffermarsi su considerazioni di carattere puramente estetico. Al contrario, la singolarità della sua poetica nasce da un' originalissima considerazione dell' ispirazione artistica.
E' palese che Rinaldi sia attratto dal Caos, un Caos intenso sia come mescolanza incontrollabile delle sensazioni umane, sia come impossibilità di interpretare oggettivamente qualsiasi dato sensibile. Al contrario della comune aspirazione umana, eterna e parzialmente illusoria, Rinaldi non tenta di apporre un ordine, anche arbitrario a questo Caos esistenziale per intraprendere la via della comprensione intellettuale: si lascia coinvolgere nel disordine, trasportare dal dal tumulto delle emozioni quotidiane; scivola sopra e al di là di ogni tentata comprensione, consapevole che nessuna sensazione potrà mai essere prevista volontariamente.

Aesthetic Interloper Show By V Holecek

Kansas City, MO - The works of local underground surrealist V Holecek will be showing at The Scion Lab on Oak Street between 18th and 19th Street (behind Grinder's at 415 E 18th St, Kansas City, Missouri) as part of the First Friday art walk in the Crossroads on December 4th. After having been the featured artist of the Surreally Yours exhibit at the Soulard Art Market in Saint Louis in August, this will be his first solo exhibition.
Though frequently mistaken for paintings, his colored pencil drawings seek to challenge not only the viewer's concepts of the world around them, but also the challenge their very ideas of what a colored pencil drawing can be. His works exist in collections both locally and abroad, by collectors of the unusual and unique. Because of the nature of the work exhibited, this event is not recommended for those under the age of 18.
The reception opens at 7:00 PM, with a cash bar provided by Grinder's, and the event promises to be quite the detachment from...
