November 28th, 2014

Grand Ralids, MI - Artist Chris DeVries is trying to change Grand Rapids police protocol to save lives.

Kurt Miller,32, had autism but was high-functioning, which means he sometimes behaved normally but sometimes had the mindset of a child. After Kurt's family members didn’t hear from him after a day, they became worried. It wasnt like him to check in with his family so they tried to file a missing persons report, but were told Kurt had to have been missing for 24 hours. They waited and filed a report.

Luminous Geometric Abstract Digital Art

Luminous Geometric Abstract Digital Art

November 28th, 2014

Parksville, BC - Janice Austin’s new digital abstract artwork is created from a unique method of combining digital image layering techniques with computer-generated fractal spirals and geometric forms. Using individually-created color gradient layers to create light, shadows, and depth, some of the resulting artworks are bursting with bold and vibrant color while some have a more subdued appearance with sheer, translucent, and luminous colors that shimmer, glisten, and glow.

Suitable for complementing home or office decor, these non-objective (non-representational) abstract compositions each have a definitive modern, contemporary, and sophisticated appeal designed to add a sleek and stylish touch to any interior space.

The artwork featured in the “view it in a room” image above is: “Rippling Squares 3” by Janice Austin - available at: http://janiceaustin.com
