Yes, there will be 3 retrogrades this year although sometimes there are 4. This first one will occur during Aquarius, and according to my teacher that means that you should indeed hold off on any purchases based in technology, like phones, cars and computers. A classmate asked "What if you were born during a Mercury retrograde?" and our teacher said those people will not be affected to the same degree as the rest of us.

Seriously I may hold off on launching a jewelry shop on 'E' until after this. Otherwise, I'd be opening it later this week and that really may not be good. My mom used to do some astrology, did charts part time for some people too. Quit though when she got disgusted with a client that was looking for excuses instead of trying to improve and understand herself better.

yes, I can see what you mean about people making excuses.. I am sure people blame plenty of things on Mercury retrogrades! Having said that I think you are wise to wait on launching the shop.

For heavens sake don't do anything during this period. Don't start a job, don't start a new project, don't buy anything, don't pay your rent, just wait it out!

But of course your Astrology Teacher is exempt. Pay them them on time.

Edward, Mercury doesn't exist as a car company anymore. Ford axed it three years ago.

Think it's hitting me earlier...here's how my day has been.

Checked for a fasting blood sugar this morning...okay that was too high, I need to do something about this like no more soft drinks...which makes me sad

Cat peed under desk while I was sitting there, my fault, it was day three of not doing litter box...

Coffee brew messed up - undrinkable for mom, of course my fault since I make the coffee even though I don't drink it....new pot, she's short and can't 'see' to make it...um hum...

Mom downloaded 'something' - took me almost an hour to find and eliminate, apparently my fault again since I told her it's okay to let Java update....think she needed to uncheck an add this extra thing box maybe...

Went to order contacts, can't because I want 'this' brand and the Dr. prescribed 'that' brand and we have to wait for her to actually work (thurs, fri only) for an okay

Forgot about a draft coming out of checking account, until after I ordered something last night, leaves me really tight for a few days...grrr again, my fault

Picked up take out for quick cheap dinner, ticket on the bag was right but half of order was wrong...actually took it all back and had it replaced. Never actually done that before.

Also all around bad communications with mother last few days, was yelled at for not a good reason, things are my fault - I don't care, I don't spend time with her (we live together and I work from home), some tears and guilt tripping, etc etc etc

If I could, this would be a perfect time to run away! Can't though, since bank account is low and no one but me cleans the litter box, fixes the coffee, fetches food or cooks when we eat real food, or runs errands. So, if I did leave, my mother would starve, and not have any coffee, cats would...do things, supplies would all run out! SIGHHHHHHHHH

Yep, gonna wait a few weeks to launch that extra shop.....


edit:..........so, tonight when I was filling up my shop's paper towel holder with multifold towels, like I've done for the last 20 years, first time EVER this happens - they exploded on me and fell apart and became unfolded, lol! That was when I remembered that yesterday when I was changing a 3-way bulb, the new bulb zapped and died....have to get another one...it's dark in here. Somebody pull the pins out of my voodoo doll!!

David K - I'm with you - my whole life has been pretty much Mercury in Retrograde - whatever that really means to a human (I guess we are human) on earth.

BTW-- All the planets in our solar system go through a retrograde, but the sun and the moon do not.

Whoa Melissa, just trying to track down cat pee smell that isn't related to the litter box (all four moggies were in over night). Imagine me giving you a big hug!
