Well, I've been drawing since I was a 'wee one!' Always took art classes in school in addition to vocational photography as half my day last two years of high school. I went on to study commercial art and advertising design in college which included photography and drawing classes, did freelance work after college doing pen and ink architectural drawings, logo designs and other commissioned work. All this was in the 80's...yes, I just 'dated' myself! On to the 90's, I became interested in Pyrography (woodburned) art and traveled some displaying at juried art fairs and local events. As time went by, artistic pursuits as a full time living were moved to the background but recently I've been able to arrange my schedule to allow more time (not full time) for my artistic side and I am thrilled to be able to display and sell work online through this venue and potentially be seen by people from all over the world.
