Sometimes the camera is my only tool, sometimes it's just one of the artistic tools I will utilize to create my vision. My starting point was years ago with black and white film photography, commercial art and graphic design, also pen and ink architectural renderings. I'll leave off when exactly that was but will say there were no computers then....shhh!
Many of my images are produced by blending artistic elements with my photography which is referred to by many as photographic art or artistic photography. These enhanced photography images are done using textures and other effects blended in layers with the photo image. Sometimes this may be very obvious, sometimes it is not as the effects may be more pronounced in some and very subtle in others.
I also have what I consider more traditional photography images that are minimally processed and do not have any layers or textures involved.
The galleries are divided mostly by subject matter. A few are separated by the medium used, i.e. digital art and mirror image galleries. Also one gallery is for traditional art done the old fashioned way.
