Two boys wanted to give their pet ferret a drink from a puddle. They found a plastic cup to scoop up the water but the ferret just bent right down and got his own drink.

This is supposed to be Amanda Knox..... I saw a similar photo of her and liked it, so I attempted to paint her, ......even tho I am not a portrait painter.




This is called A mothers son... I was inspired to paint it after seeing street people


" The Painter " is a self portrait done 3 or 4 years ago.


"Ray" ..... A portrait of Ray Charles..... in a more loose style than I usually paint.

Hair is kind of hard. I have yet to find my perfect brushes. But bringing in green highlights was kind of fun for this one. She could even be Mother Nature, had I thought about it before, it would probably be what I would title this one.

Hopefully a horses mane is considered "hair" though not human hair.

An orange tabby is looking at its reflection in a vanity mirror. The reflected image has blonde hair. On the dresser is a vase of Phalaenopsis orchids and a palm tree on the floor behind it. Who's the fairest of them all?

English Bulldog Spike is full of attitude and edge. He's tired of tiny tiaras and soppy stuff but prefers cool rocker style that sets him apart from the rest of the pack!
He's the punky pup. How cool is that?! Punk rock never dies!

My dog enjoying a romp through a foot of freshly fallen snow. I rarely use photoshop filters on my images but occasionally I'll come across a shot that I think is well suited for a little "pixel-bender". Love how it melts the thin strands of hair together and adds to the flow.

does this count? my fractal image of medusa having a bad hair day. ;)

This is an oil painting portrait of Minnie, a beautiful miniature poodle. She is as sweet as can be.

Rumor has it, if you sit under the hair dryer too long your hair may go up in flames....lol This photo was taken last Holloween here in New Orleans Also considered high hair....

This is a "silly" one that I did for a (non-winning) campaign on 99 designs....gee, I wonder why it didn't win, lol. It's got some hair, but not much!

I captured 'Misty Mae' at the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary in 2010 which, at the time, was home to about 500 wild mustangs that roam freely on the open prairies. For me, the image IS the hair. The Sanctuary is located in Hot Springs, South Dakota in the United States.

My only hair photograph. This little one has a head of curls.

H... it is a photograph taken into photoshop and using various techniques transforming it into what you see.

Since I do a lot of portraits of women hair often plays a prominent role in my work. I will not clog up the thread with so many multiples.

Hey Mario... curious as to how big your sculptures are.

Bob,the one titled Lonely was a life size wall sculpture I used a model, my wife. The others are small table tops from 10" to 12" in size, copper has gotten very expensive.

Mules have better hair doos than horses.

Jim, Don Quixote's horse says those are fighting words Lol.

@Mario.. Quite a range in size. I noticed that you don't have dimensions on the ones that you have for sale.. might be a good idea to add that. ;O)

This was done for a portrait contest. I wanted to make her like a superhero. Her super power is in her hair and her stare. Watch out. She has very strong hair folicles.

Not much hair on top, but quite a bit on the bottom ;O)

Grand daughter playing with her shadow. She had her neon pink swim suite in most of the pictures we took. I got creative with some of her images in photoshop.

I thought the hardest part of this work was not the hair but doing the soft toy bunny.

Her hair took on a life of it's own.

Sometimes the hair is on the face as well...

Lots of kitty hair on this chair. This is how this country cat took possession of this chair for his naps!
