Hello, and a southern welcome from 'The City that Care Forgot', New Orleans, Louisiana USA,! Chef Michael is a multi-talented local Artist, (included in his gallery are images from his gallery of 'eye see COLOURS', 'eye see COLORS' Watercolors', are his water color paintings and pen and ink originals and his fine art photography).
His interest in photography at an early age, encouraged his parents to present to him his first camera a Kodak Brownie at the age of 10.
Having formal training in Art while attending Grammar School and 4 years training in Commercial Art in High School, upon graduating he pursued careers in Commercial Art and Graphic Art doing layout and design locally in New Orleans, LA USA.
Also, he enrolled for two years at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA USA to continue his formal education in Fine Arts.
He advanced from that Kodak Brownie to an Olympus OM10, Cannon A1, Cannon EOS 10, Acer and Hewlett Packard lap top web camera, HTC 5 pixel mobile phone and from time to time disposable cameras
The artist uses his view finder as a canvas along with his formal training and professional careers developed a unique style in his photography. When he looks through the viewfinder he has always sensed a natural ability while taking photos. His work consist of architecture, portraits, lifestyle and urban settings. Quotes from the artist 'COLOR is merely a de-fraction of LIGHT, void of LIGHT MyPhotoImages would be non-existent', 'you are the finder of the view and in return, its what the viewer perceives your photo to represent as in a smile to your face, a tear to your eye, an opinion or just pure enjoyment

Michael's photographic creations are the thoughts in his mind, the images he sees in his dreams and the spirit in his heart. His love and passionn for photography and his home, the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, Michael's photography spans over 51 years and was spared any damage from the devastating destruction of Hurricane Katrina.
Thru the camera's viewfinder Michael has captured the spirit of a particular time and place for everyone to enjoy.
Michael also, is a talented Musician and Singer and has performed at various theater's of performing arts nationally with a men's chorus ensemble and appeared locally with the New Orleans Opera Chorus as Tenor 1 in the acclaimed production of Aida.
