Description
A photograph of a flock of Canada Geese (Branta Canadensis) flying in formation above a loch on the Isle of Mull, Scotland UK. They are a large Goose, from the Anatidae family and introduced to the UK from North America. They are viewed as a pest by many, particularly in public parks where they are noisy, often become semi tame and aggressively seek out food. Seen in flight as a truly wild bird, though, they are an elegant and charming bird and a firm favourite of mine. I have given this photograph a panoramic crop to focus the eye on the line of Geese and the shore of the loch. I took a sequence of shots as they passed me and have selected this photograph as the central Yacht provides a nice additional point of interest
