Thank You Fine Art America For My 300th Sale

Thank You Fine Art America for my 300th Sale on 3-29-15.

I feel a very special need to say THANK YOU to FAA and their staff and to all of the FAA members that have supported me in this journey since I joined this community of Artists.

I joined FAA the next day after I lost my business of 25 years. During my time on this site I have become homeless and had a major set back in my health.
It�s been FAA and the artist on this site that have given me the support, courage, compassion and education to continue forward in a positive and encouraging way.

My sincere Thanks to Abbie for all of her help with my technical issues and her behind the scenes energy that she has used for myself and so many other members.

Each day has been a new and Unique experience in this full time transformation from my Computer Consulting business that had a billable rate of $65.00 per hour to this new title of a Starving Artist that I�m proud to attach to myself when talking with other folks.

Due to this Artist community/family my soul still smiles everyday. THANK YOU everyone!!!

Wow awesome, congrats. I just joined this site so still working on my first sale here. Going to upgrade to premium so I can upload more work. I am pretty sure I will use FAA/AW/Pixels for my main site instead of Zenfolio. I think I could make more money per item with Zenfolio, but the problem is it's not as user-friendly for buyers. Which is a bummer because I like how clean I can make my Zenfolio sites. But if it doesn't sell products as well. Also I think the networking here is nice. I have been lurking around a little bit for the last few days. It's really refreshing to see people talking. I have to say I feel like I went back in time on FAA. This place reminds me more of how the web use to be. I do have some issues with page load times on some of your AW sites. I have run some testing with gtmetrix.com & gotten very poor Page Speed Grade: F & YSlow: C also 10+ megabyte page size is not good. Not an issue for me on 100mb fiber but most people use 4G LTE on cell phones these days. So I am pretty worried those people will not see my work at all if I point the world to my FAA/AW/Pixels. :/ So this has been the main thing holding me back. But I don't see any other sites that will work. I've tried them all. So hopefully when I sign up I can optimize my page to load quickly.

Anyway sorry for off topic rant. Congrats again. Keep it up. :)

Here are the test results of your FAA page. Took almost 82 seconds to load 13.4mb page. Yours is not the only page that shows these results. FAA as a whole needs to work on this. It's a huge problem.
