Oh, Marlene--one of my pet subjects! I am a wee bit obsessed with finding numerals out and about in the world. I have a whole gallery of them. Got so many great ones in Europe last summer. My goal is to have every number from 1 to 100. I have a long way to go.

Official lighting of the Venice sign once again. When Venice opened for business and fun back in 1905, there was the Venice Sign, strung across Windward Avenue. Now, thanks to the efforts of a whole bunch of people, it's back.
