When I created this piece, of course I enjoy telling a story through my artwork, I tried to think from an artist's perspective, work was done, day was almost over, walking his happy dog with a tired body, still lived with his dreams/ music...

Idea behind (and the mental story it sends me) The rancher worked hard all day in his fields, now it is time for his relaxing time, playing music and looking at the beautiful sky with his partner and hard working companion.

Thank you everyone for each of your great suggestions, I love them all. It is very challenging for only choosing one...

After a couple of days deliberation I had come to a decision. In the end, I fell in love with the poem Artist Lutz Baar wrote for this painting:

"Purple light in the canyons
That's where I long to be
With my three good companions
Just my guitar, doggy and me."

And also the background was impressed by Napa Valley scene, so I finally name my painting "Guitar,doggy And Me In Wine Country" - give to my credit to all my creative artist friends and especially Lutz Baar for the lovely poem!

I love the title you used -- I wish FAA would let us use punctuation, because without reading your description here, I thought your title referred to a "guitar doggy" as in a dog that plays the guitar or something like that. LOL You need to be able to put in that comma!
