I am an American expat living in Asia. My life was spent as a zoologist whose career evolved into writing and publishing a series of books, most frequently guidebooks, with a focus on global volunteer travel programs. I believe that how travelers choose to spend their tourism dollars offers a great potential to impact wildlife and global conservation programs – either positively or negatively. Encouraging true responsible travel and the development of programs that truly benefit animals and conservation is a passion of mine.
As I move into a new phase of my life, indulging my other love, art, I have returned to college and am just finishing up my BA in Graphic Design. Currently, I work as a freelance print media designer with a focus on working with businesses and NGOs involved in animal care, conservation and eco-tourism. This is the target market I have worked around for nearly three decades. Like my life, my graphic design website is evolving. My site is being developed as a part of my senior project. In the meantime, please enjoy some of my available prints here on FAA.

If you are looking for a print media designer who respects nature, understand conservation issues in-depth, knows your target market and strives to make a real difference in the world, I would welcome the chance to learn more about your Earth-friendly project(s).
