Marlene, Renovation 3 in your urban abstracts gallery reminds me of some bodges I've had to repair.

Really like this thread idea.. as stated in the OP, no one is forcing you to partake and really there's no need to complain about it

Compared to the others, this doesn't have the same level of detail.

I have zero interest in this sport, same goes for the art.

Love your work Tgchan, but this one isnt as strong. The flower is passed its use by date and the bee doesnt stand out as strong.

Oh, while not hot, it may have still been somewhat warm. I didn't check.

I had a hard time finding one that I didn't like, went with this one because I generally don't like centered floral images. Guilty of that myself too. :)

Shawna, your collages are to die for! I didn't look through all the rest of your portfolio -- it's huge! -- but this image caught my eye as being, well... less than the others. It's nicely composed, the trees frame the center well, but there's nothing that interesting in the center, and as a result it looks a little like a vacation photo. Nothing wrong with vacation photos, but compared to the rest of your work, this one came up lacking.



I'm going to go back and keep drooling over your collages now. ;)

This is so hard!! Lori, I picked this mostly because I'm not familiar with what it is. :)

This is actually one of the more interesting subjects that you have to me, however the processing keeps jumping out to me. In my opinion the editing style leaves much to be desired to me. Just my opinion.

Don't really care for the composition of this one

The sky looks great, but the bottom portion of the photograph is too dark for me.

Anne Sands, what a nice gallery, it was hard job to find what's not good or what i dont like, I first noticed Tiger on the Animals Birds gallery, went in and still same tiger was worst, then I go back and jump in Flowers cause I dont like thousands of flowers pictured from short distance butt your flowers are great!
Went back to animals and I pick this:



Tiger is great powerfull animall, I just don't like this close up tiger, and there is a lot of them on the net.

Marlene Burns, when I jump to this thread i pick two works from two artist that I thought: This isn't so bad, one of them is yours, I didn't even notice that was you till I take a look.

Now, I'm shakeing, my gallery is a crap, there are several pictures I should delate long time ago, and the others aren't better, after visiting my gallery we can introduce new chalenge: Most stupidest name for a piece of so to say art.

I think that was moth traped in sunblind, he loked so sad but the picture is blury you're right, Teksas poker girl is my second most wieved work, I think a lot of people came just to see what's that with price of one million dollars, could be nice tip for some people to get more visitors. From your mouth to god's ears like they said, I never sold anything here :)

david you need to add more key words for your images it will help with search engines. example " getting jiggy " unique interesting image 4 key words

All your paintings are amazing, I really had to dig deep to find this one. This photo just doesn't seem to have any depth to it or point of interest for me. My eye didn't really know what part to look at in this one and I found myself longing for a more dramatic sky or an interesting boulder or desert plant to anchor this.

Had a really hard time choosing, you have a wonderful gallery. This one just didn't really pop compared to the others in your portfolio.

A number of very nice pieces, Shana. But I'm not a fan of Astrology.

Alisha is an evocative artist! However, this one struck me as too dark and depressing.

Does not look too amazing to me. Confusing outcome and an unattractive color combo.

One again, your collection has stopped the topic... and I don't blame people who are not brave enough to pick anything from your work. It is not an easy task :)

This composition lacks the depth that your description suggests. For all the talk of the struggle of good and evil, the composition as well as the environment doesn't lend itself any favors.

You have some lovely dreamy images Andrea, and I really like the cute animal photos!

I chose this one as my least favourite because I found the blurry branches in the foreground to be distracting. But otherwise the snowy scene is very nice.

This is a photo of glasswork that has no story to it.
The photo says "I'm pretty glass sitting on a cabinet" and if you were selling them then that would be great. Otherwise it's not saying anything.

Reading other people's posts, I think how about how this has been executed and it maybe a little bit off course. The opening post ask for a what is the worst work of the person. Then I see opinion about the subject matter, not the actual quality of the work. I know it can be hard to be objective when looking at work but it is more helpful to an artist that's being critiqued to be specific regarding composition, aesthetics and emotional impact of work.
That type of feedback help an artist consider how their work impacts an audience.
Just my 2 cents.
