reply In general (no one specific) with regard to the hospital using the file to have the print made, this is quite common. Yale-New Haven licensed work from me for display last year. They had exact specific dimensions to work with, and they have their own art/print lab. They let me know up front they have a specific design for the display, and were creating 63.5" wide acrylic prints using aluminum barrel standoffs to mount to the wall.
When I view the image Lara posted, you can see the uniformity of the presentation. All by design. For anyone reading this who may be contacted by a Hospital for an art display/project I would not be insulted should they request to license and pay for the jpg file to print the artwork.
