What In The World?

Putting puns aside....

How does someone have a 14 thousand by 9 thousand pixel picture and get 2600 votes? Doing full resolution the words are perfectly clear....
I don't want a lesson I am just very curious, I admire this guys work, but geez how do you do it? Don't want to mention names.

those two things aren't related. i can only assume the votes were done by a bot or something. and the size is what he made it. it's not that uncommon a size. depending on when it was uploaded, the qualifier didn't catch all the sizes, seemed to let 45meg files through. however depending on the colors of the image, it may compress really well.

Thanks Mike. The votes could be bots but ones that he probably does himself. I noticed that a lot of his comments are repeats, and by the same people over and over. Looks like he has the control though.

I think there are a lot of malfunctions going on.

I have one image that has 1500 Pinterest posts and I don't think I even have a Pinterest account.

I have another that has 255 votes and nothing else, no comments, no favorites, no features, never submitted to a group and no sales.

I don't pay any attention to all that stuff. I don't see where it matters or where I can make a difference if it did.

the social buttons just count how many times someone has referenced this link on their site. i have one that has close to that number too, but it only has 400 views, that's where that conclusion came from. same with facebook, 60 times, when i know i didn't do it that many, its the internal stuff. though the votes should at least be equal to the views. at one point votes meant something, but people abused the system, and now it's a game.

I don't know if he did it himself or how he would go about it. I have an image that has 6,000 and something views. Tokyo Japan hit it every 4 minutes for two or three weeks, then suddenly stopped at 6060. It of course had to be a bot, but the purpose for its hits for three weeks is beyond me. So the guy may have nothing to do with it.
