Sales Phenomena

Congratulations, but no, I have not experience of selling on FAA. However, I am suppose to get my stuff into a new gallery in October.

A watched pot of art never boils?

Seems a bit counterintuitive, but I'll happily go along with it, since it happens to me quite frequently, though not frequently enough...I'm talking about gallery sales, of course.

All I've experienced here is discouragement and failure. Well, whatever.

I don't watch my pot, and it still never boils. Lol, just had to say that. Glad you took a vacay, Marlene, and came home to a nice surprise!

Getting sales while on vaca is the best.....its like payed vacation for artists LOL.

My wifi has been down at home for almost a month (I'm at work), and I made three sales this month (which is a lot for me). Hmmmm....

Yupp, seen it, done it, loved it.

Happens to me, too. And now that I'm going on the road full-time, I'm looking forward to daily sales, LOL!

I've never gone on vacation. Now you tell me!

It's the opposite for me. I tend to get two or three sales a week, but whenever I go on vacation, flat zero. Even my views drop off dramatically. For the most part, I see sales after a marketing push, so it comes as no surprise that vacations hurt my sales.

I had three sales that will be included in the September 15th payment. I am behind last year's sales but remain optimistic and thankful.

Congrats to you; that's a double win. Making money while on vacation!

Haven't had a summer vacay this year - I prefer a shore visit when the tourists are gone.
But I have been off creating & attending to my FAA duties this Summer due to me doing cosmetic renovations around the house. & yes , while I haven't been watching - they are rolling in rather nicely : )

Sometimes ya gotta bust your butt - & other times you just sit back and enjoy the ride. Looking forward to a luscious Autumn .

Think its great for you Marlene.
But in being on here for over 6 months, I've only made one sale.
I get many visitors from all over the U.S. and worldwide.
And I know my prices are comparable to other similar photographers.

What the heck, its cheap to be here and you just never know.
Yet, I sometimes just find it hard to believe so many sales are being made.

I've had a forced break due to some personal issues. This was my first flurry of activity from faa all year and it came on the heels of my first commission this year. Better late than never. Maybe I should have just vacationed earlier in the year!!

Last year, I picked up a chrome book and used google drive, uploaded by files and blissfully left town, knowing I could conduct business while away. Smartphones are great but you can't access everything you may need.

Yes,Marlene, it happens to me every time I travel. it never fail to amaze me getting the sale emails while at the other part of the world. I should go away more often in order to get more sales.

So THAT'S my problem, I'm always home!

My latest sale was while I was on a trip/vacation. The wife would like to be gone all the time - I'd just like to stay gone.

Yes, A few times I had sales while on vacation away.... I just had one in July on vacation...gotta love it!!! Congrats! :)
