A few more months to go here, we can get our heaviest snow storms in April. The wild rose is our provincial flower, they blossom in June.

It's snowing here today (again).....can't wait. I'm tired of shooting the white stuff, give me some flowers, please.

I saw a beautiful tree full of flowers a few days ago in Savannah. I think it was a japanese magnolia. I was too far away to tell. The azalea and Dogwoods bloom in mid March in Savannah.

Caught the majesty of this wildflower tribute at a local cemetery. The plot long left untended...now in the care of the delicate ministrations of the boughs of the Bridal Bouquet wildflower bushes. They were swaying in the breeze, seeming to caress the stone -- allowing only brief glimpses of the stone's epitaph while filling the air with their intoxicating fragrance....

Some warmer days really have been highlights this winter.
So much longing for spring... and the sun after all this heating !
Would be my dream to escape winter altogether by travelling somewhere where there is sunshine and the sea...

Oh this is such a wonderful thread! I just went through it quickly,but I will have to look at it again later! We keep getting snow,beautiful,but I can't wait for spring!

61 degrees here today, blue skies, with wispy white clouds. Feels like Spring to me...at least until it gets cold again...tonight/tomorrow.

Today is one of those days in "sunny" Florida that you wish it was - instead we have a steady light drizzle, cold (by thin blooded Floridian standards), and dreary. We do have flowers in profusion however

Oh, we just received a foot of snow in Toronto yesterday however spring won't be long now, perhaps another two, three months away.
