Description
This photo was taken at Tawatinaw, Alberta, Canada. The valley, which reaches far to the north, was carved out by a glacier ages ago. This created a huge river which is now just a creek. The river was a gateway to the north, useful to the fur traders. There was also a flourishing town which became a ghost town. One of the standing buildings is a church built in the early 1900's.

Thank you so much, Belinda. This is the place where I was raised as a child and the church you see in the distance is where I was married.

So glad you think so because this is the place where I grew up. My parents were married in that church and so were my husband and I. Thank you, Cheryl.
