Description
Black Point is one of many tiny fishing communities along the south shore of Nova Scotia, Canada, It is on the shore of St. Margaret's Bay, and is situated on a little cove which gives protection from the storms of the North Atlantic Ocean. The main occupation is fishing lobsters and other inshore fish. Homes and fishing wharves and sheds are scattered along the shore, making everything as convenient as possible for a life style that can be hard when the weather is bad. Autumn brings a sea of colourful leaves as the maples and other hardwoods burst into colour.
