Description
Here is a detail from my limited edition bronze bowl, Dance of the Seasons. Inspired by my lifelong experiences in the rugged Cedar Breaks foothills of Wyoming's Snowy Range, this close-up shows one of the many white pelicans I have watched swimming together to encircle fish. They are awkward on land, but a thing of grace and beauty on the water or in the air. Many people are very surprised to learn we have many pelicans in Wyoming. Also here you can see the running bison, the horned lizard looking for ants to eat, and catch a glimpse of the turtle and the wild horse.
