Description
In the mountain meadows many kinds of wild flowers and butterflies thrive, from the prairie-smoke flower to elephanthead and paintbrush, and from the large tiger swallowtail butterfly to the tiny blues and checkerspots. Stella, a dear friend of the family who has corresponded for many years but has never seen Wyoming, commissioned Dawn to paint this, so she could see Dawn's interpretation of Stella's favorite subjects.
