Description
Some Artist we have talked too, do not like to paint the same subject over, and over, but Louis Sylvia who has work in the Louvre, said "Painting the same subject, is how you improve. Usually each one is better." So Ive favorite subject materiel, beginning with Red Rock Country in Sedona Arizona to the Grand Canyon. Probably could paint several hundred of Red Rock Chapel, without repeating them. Could never make a duplicate of the Grand Canyon.

What I like about "Red Rock Country" is it can be painted in an infinite variety of Reds to Oranges.

same with photos....redo it many times 'in the wild' or in photoshop, and it's different every time. V

Paint it 100 times Bob - they just get better all the time. This is such an iconic structure you can only make it more interesting each time. F/V

Thanks, dont want it to get boring, but different angels times of day, etc, can prevent. Will have to go there sometime at night to see what the front looks like with the lights on inside... That may motivate me to do a sunset or night scene.
