Out West & Many others...
A year or so ago, Nadine and Bob decided to some digital Paintings, as they travel in an RV 8,000 or more miles each year. Though we both have been painting with Acrylics in our travels, saw some other artists were creating original Paintings with Photoshop Brushes...
This is Nadine's first painting created in Photoshop.
We have also found it more convenient, as each time we move, we have to pack all painting equipment away, taking over an hour. Then set it all up when we reach another campground. As we only have one easel to use, it means making a decision of who is going to use it.
By practicing several hours a day, we found we could paint much like we did with Acrylics, and did not have to change our Photo-Realistic Style...

First I dream of painting and then I paint my dream. Watch for our Digital paintings which are emerging as an art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, impasto, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer and software, a graphics program offering a virtual canvas and painting box with a large number of brushes, colors and other supplies.
The box contains many instruments that do not exist outside the computer, and which give a digital artwork a different look and feel from an artwork that is made the traditional way.' IT also protects the environment from discarded paint, and other chemicals.

I love old mills which reminds me of Alphonse Daudet's writings (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphonse_Daudet). This particular mill is just lovely and romantic.
