Not Getting Any Views

I am not sure why I am not getting any views of my work. Any ideas?

Try Tweeting or posting on FB so the bots will find you. Most of my views are bots (web crawlers) anyway. You have some very pretty flower photos.

Go to Google - put in "flowers" and see how many images show up.

Its up to you to figure out how to get to the top of the list.

Sue
Make sure you have a LOT of keywords on your work.
THEN! add each image to Google + and twitter and Stumble Upon.
It takes work.
As I have said before, it takes 10% creativity and 90% perspiration.
Ya gotta work, work, work.
If you have a personal website, may I suggest you also add Sponsored Pages from FAA.
This will bump you up on Google searches.
Hope this helps.

gotta advertise.
gotta have more than 16 things. while the flowers are nice, they are still just flowers. you have very few keywords and no descriptions. google would place this toward the back. you've only been here for 5 days.

in order to get views you have to advertise and tell people your here. with very few keywords and being so new you won't easily be found in the search. and flowers aren't all that popular. while they do sell, its a tough sell because everyone has them.

just an FYI - sponsors will not bump you in google searches. it will only give you a line on the front page of this site's search.

I noticed there was no description. I often have the same problem.

Sue ... You've got some lovely flowers in your portfolio. Here's a helpful keyword generator I often use when looking for keywords for my work. Keywords are absolutely necessary for being seen in the internal FAA search or in the searches outside of FAA. .... http://microstockgroup.com/tools/keyword.php

Enter contests on FAA.

That won't necessarily get you any sales, but if the point is to get people to look at your beautiful flower photography... the contests on FAA are kind of like art shows, where folks do look at each others' work.

I figure I "win" a contest if someone other than me votes for my work... (-;

Sue ... just for an example. I tweeted your first flower photo and before I tweeted it, there was 1 or maybe 2 views on it. After the tweet, it has 17 views. Mostly bots but still important in the google world. The more you put your work out there, the more it will be shared by others which grows the views exponentiallly.

It takes a long time to get off the ground here! Be ready to invest a good year or more to get going. I've been here for just over a year and I'm just barely starting to see consistent views/sales with around 700 images available.

It would be great if all we had to do was upload our work and wait for sales. Lots of good advice above but I find keywords and descriptions are hugely important!

Sue, the lack of views is not due to your skills. You do have several nice images. It looks like you just joined a month ago and as others have already mentioned above, it's going to take a little work to get exposure. Good luck to you!

It'll also take some work to get exposure. A lot of time with no work won't get you far

I'm in awe that you post that because your work is amazing!

Social media links go a long way!!

Your work is beautiful but you haven't been on FAA very long. Join groups and enter contests, that will help generate views. Also, it's important that you add more tags and include a good description for each image.

Lots of reading but worth it :)

Blog, favorite others works, follow other people, join some groups, utilize social networking, and do lots more than 16 images. Success includes being part of a community and networking with others who just might share your work forward for other eyes to see it. There are some here who are very generous to do that.

Mostly... you have to promote yourself and get out of any thinking that makes you believe that you will somehow be discovered. That is a formula for discouragement.

Good fortunes.
