Artist Never Get Bored!!! Correct?

Can't recall getting bored.

Bored with what...art?

True! I can honestly say that I really don't get bored.

I get bored at work.

What i understand Artist never get bored with anything because they do things every time with new style. :)

repetitive works lead to boredom...but in art there is no repetition....

I never feel bored with creativity ...

When I get bored...I create! But boredom can come sometimes...but the remedy is art!

There is plenty of repetition in art both technically and conceptually but you can always find new challenges in art, tis true I am never bored.

Judging from some of the arguments and threads on this site I'd say artists get bored all the time.

I've heard from someone that people who get bored are usually boring people and artists are never boring, so it means they do not get bored :-). I would add that the technical side of the art business can get pretty boring for many artists but we always have something to look forward to and that is the creative process.

Rupesh, I think it's true for most creative people -- not just visual artists. Who has time for boredom when there's always a new project just around the corner?

Except for the occasional long hospital stay or illness, I don't think I've ever been bored! :-)

I click on your avatar and get empty galleries. Just a heads up.

I do not get bored, but every few months I need some down time away from the art.

I am in that mood for the last four days. No production. I am stepping away till possibly next Friday.

My anniversary of joining FAA is Sept 1. Over the last seven weeks I exploded in my artworks completed.
I really need a vacation.

Part of the down time is to reassess things.

I had the same problem, clicking on the avatar & finding an empty profile. Rupesh posted all his / her images on his website, s/ he posted the link to the website on one of the other threads, maybe the thread about abstract art.

Boredom has nothing to do with what your doing or not doing, boredom is a just a state of mind, change your mind and your boredom will be gone.

I figured out what was ailing me as the Irish would say. At Starbucks I began to drink the Refreshers. They have caffeine.

I am back in the saddle again. A few great nights of sleep and the world is ready to be conquored.

I don't think I have ever been bored in all of my 62 years. When a young boy I played by myself on an isolated farm. Now days I travel with my music and a sketchbook. Boredom is not allowed to come along.
