So you have been kicked off and likely have been before that! All those different pics, maybe start a stock co. At least its something you can do to while away the hours.

They love spam in Hawaii... they sever it in all of the restaurants, well most anyway... even McDonald's...

You can order spam, rice and egg instead of hash browns, eggs and bacon.

I think spam has something like 13 years worth of the recommenced healthy diet fats in every piece. 30 or 40 years worth of sodium.

But it is good.

The other thing is that if are dying of hunger and find a 400 year old can of spam, it will still be good to eat.

Required watching.

A good reason why information should go through a sifter before someone is allowed to start posting anything in the forums or elsewhere.

Too many spammers who become part of the fabric of this community. And they get tons of attention. We have one right now that has no real interest in providing real art... and yet get tons of attention of these discussion threads. And litters the site with haphazard images that outsiders think are representative.

Actually Glenn, I could not agree with you more.

I think I know which threads you are talking about. I have to admit, like this thread, I get bored and make a comment now and then where I usually would not, but there are a lot of nutty threads stated here. A lot of them.

This person's account has been closed.....I guess leaving this thread open is an oversight.

abbie likes making fun of some of the spammers, and leaves the thread open so we can make an example out of them... or something.

The picture might have to be changed since it doesn't belong to the spammer.

Mark,

Jane is the second person in the thread right after the OP, which has been hijacked by our mod.

Hey I am the chef retired of 17 years and I created a gourmet dish using SPAM and did you know Spam is used in many dishes in Hawaii....yes Hawaii ops I let the secret out. My advice is only eat SPAM in moderation.

Try Spam diced with lima beans with Cajun seasoning OMG if you never like Spam before you will now....lol

Here is something which everyone will go prepare tonight try Peanut butter and mayonnaise.....delicious., delicious I tell ya.

Spam would probably be good with pineapple, like ham with pineapple.
One good thing about spam is you can just open the can and slice it for a sandwich. It's not gourmet but it's okay.

Also, i can assure everyone the ever so picky diets, spam has saved many a starving indivudal during times of homeless and in a natural diaster such as Hurricane Katrina a not so heathy souce but one which substains Life In a case such as flood, torandos, fire, and a snowstorm its a source of food to be thankful

Aww, you can't be suspicious of anything that can celebrate shelf life in long series of birthdays …but why the CSI pic for the OP image?

i never ate spam, and some like it. after all, if it was really that bad, they wouldn't still be in business. still i don't like ANY meat that:

- Jiggles
- Has a gooey outside
- Comes in a can, that includes its older brother lg ham in a can.

In Hawaii, Spam is so popular that it is sometimes referred to as "The Hawaiian Steak"

Mark - I don't think my name was in the original original post (that is, before Abbie hijacked it). Anyway, things are getting a wee bit confused now, and my brain is starting to hurt. Maybe I'm developing a spam allergy...

spam or any canned food usually taste too salty and have a lot of sodium in it .. so it's not good for your health

i would prefer to consume natural / fresh / organic food only

Kathleen Bishop

I'm with Michelle. I can't afford to eat all organic but I very rarely eat anything that comes out of a can, with the exception of dumping a can of beans into a recipe when I haven't bothered to cook them from scratch or heating a can of soup when I'm living on the road. The soup is usually some form of Amy's Organic. Hate any kind of Campbell's. Nasty stuff, full of salt. I don't eat food that comes out of a box either, with the exception of granola. Fresh and raw is cheaper, tastes way better and isn't loaded with as many chemicals. If kids weren't given processed crap when they were little, they'd be way less likely to eat that stuff when they're older.
