Help Please On Setting Up Your Web Site

Hi Everyone. Can you help with my little dilemma :-) I have set up my website, however, I asked my sister to check it for me, and whenever she goes to leave a comment and then tries to sign in with facebook she gets this error message :

Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App's settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App's domains.

Any ideas what I have done wrong?

Thanks everyone.

Helen

A link would be a great help if people are going to try and figure this out for you.

Artist name is the link for the her website ..

My suggestion is to do this after over 50,000 views or so. For now got to learn how to get that number ??

Hmmm, it's a problem with my FB account as well. I can share them on FB from the button to do that but it won't allow me to log in to comment.

You cannot comment on that site at all as people may not join it, or log into it on your account page. Best to turn off the comments until this is sorted out one way or another

Does this mean it is an IT issue, not something I have done wrong?

Jane,it means that we have never been able to have people comment on that site at all... not your fault :)

Are they in the process of fixing it or are they going to disable it as I have friends whom wish to leave comments and cannot unless they join FAA - If they leave it in limbo like this it is just confusing and becomes another infuriating web error :-) Which means less people return to the site therefore you could lose sales.

Have also noticed if you go to purchase a framed print and click on the frame you get a broken link. Are there many glitches in "your own Web page" and is there any point in having it? Any thoughts please or any other broken links?

Many people turn off comments on the aw site.

I have not heard of broken links. Please give me a link to an image this happens to you on

Hi Again, sorry I keep finding these :-( Here is the link: http://jane-mcgowan.artistwebsites.com/javascript:%20showframedetail('CRQ13');

Sorry that did not help! I was here : http://jane-mcgowan.artistwebsites.com/products/under-the-boardwalk-jane-mcgowan-framed-print.html then chose a different size print and went to click on the frame icon and got the broken link

Lady Abbie,

If you click on the "frame" thumbnail under the main image on her link above, as well as at least some on my AW site it is a broken link. If I click on the same frame thumbnail here on FAA proper it works fine and gets me this:

Sell Art Online

Would love to hear why this works on FAA but not AW....

Hi Joshua - I dare not test anything else lol. Have you found any other broken link? I am not sure whether to use AW now as I think if I was a customer trying to order something I would give up and go elsewhere

Can anyone help -
Is any one fixing these issues with the artist web pages,
Has anyone else found any glithes or are you just living with it?
should we not use it until they are resolved?

many thanks

Helen
