New To This

I wanted to see if this would be a good place for my son to start posting his art work.
He wants to be successful as an artist, I think this is a great place for us to get our feet wet.
Let me know if I'm wrong, I think he has talent.
Not many images to view yet because production is just getting started, please comment, like, share.
Thanks.

Hello :)

Great image! but he will also need to learn 'presentation' of the piece which, you could say, are the finishing touches to show it off online.

Others will come in to help him (and you)

That is nice work, but you need to get a better quality image file.
I recommend scanning it, but cameras work too. You probably need something better than a cell phone, though.
It also needs to be cropped so that the art extends to all 4 sides of the image.
Take a look around the site to see what's expected.

Again, nice artwork.
Good luck.

I need a bigger scanner. the paper is too long, and wide, any recommendations of where I can get the full size scan?

The Epson Perfection v600 Photoscanner is what many of us use.

Try to only post finished products. You can not easily sell an image of someone holding their art. And if you delete things
Google does not follow you as well. You need Google to follow your son's art. So leave up what you have, but dont add
images willy nilly.

Addition: That is just meant as advice not more than suggestions. Good luck.

His two sided mouth is very good.

Scanning in sections then joining the sections with stitching software is how many do it.

You can also take it to places like Staples or Kinkos and have them scan it.

as everyone said, scan it in pieces and stitch it later on.

Photography Prints
you'll want to add more keywords to this. especially for those that like the scream may want the take off of it.

Art Prints
be sure to present these on white paper. though you may be able to edit out the lines in photoshop by fading out the blue parts. when the art is presented the image should be clean and not smudgy.

Download GIMP.

It's like Photoshop without the added hassle of spending thousands of dollars.
Use it to stitch your scans together among countless other tools.
