Trever, you can be featured on as many groups as you like but only three will be shown at any one time..

I think they should change it Mike, I think it looks good from a potential customers point of view, 6 would be better that 3.

i think i put in suggestions that we should be able to see the whole list, just not listed all as a block on the page. how it will look now if he changes it... who knows.

I can't imagine many buyers caring about group features, but maybe some do.

the groups themselves would have to be held it high regards to make being featured by them worth while...i joined a group the other day first image i posted was featured it was a one image a day group he had featured 26 of his own images :) .but really some images get multiple features so you would little boxes everywhere.

Ok thank you for your replies should be able to have more than 3, or at least more than 3 should come up as a premier feature on personal website or something!

I think three is enough. I also believe group owners should not feature their own images.

I might post mine in discussion threads but not in the gallery itself.

I wouldn't enter my own contests either.

Horses, for courses.

Each Group Admin features images for different reasons so I am not sure that features really mean that much across the site. I think buyers may think that a featured group must be good simply because someone chose to feature it, but it's not always that simple.

I don't see why the Group Admins should exclude their own images form their groups or features. They get little to no incentive for running groups anyway so anything that increases their exposure is fine by me as long as it is within reason. I have seen some admins totally hog the group and turn it into a gallery extension, but it is the exception generally, as should drive members away.

I'm pretty sure some group admins feature every image that is submitted to them. It's really not hard to get more than three features on an image, especially if you belong to many different groups. As to whether or not displaying more icons from those groups under your image would lead to more sales, I haven't a clue, but I'd really doubt it. If someone happens upon your image and isn't already sold on it, will knowing that it was featured in the 'Most General Group of Images Ever' group cause them to pause and reflect on their hasty decision that it wasn't really their style and didn't coordinate with anything in their house? Probably not. And if it won't lead to more sales, why clutter up the page with it? Maybe a list in Behind the Scenes would be nice to help keep track though.

only having three will give you more time to create something new rather than ponder those little icons, pretty much like having access to visitor counts and (who)what location is visiting your images.hours upon hours are used in the forum discussing bots vs real visitors vs sales ratio.

I like to keep track so I just keep a short and tidy (I think) list in the description as I get a feature.
