Wow ! I have never seen it like that in person! I was there in 2012 during the summer and was very impressed!

Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and warm.

Fantastic pictures. Doesn't surprise me. Here in NC it is forecast to go down to 0 (as in zero) tomorrow. No, not wind chill - the temperature...zero... as in "put a sweater on." I can only imagine how cold it must be north of us.

What Val and the others said. So incredibly beautiful. Think I'll avoid being downstream when that thing thaws...

Thanks Jessica. Fantastic images! Having grown up 3 hours from the falls... I remember seeing them like that. They're gorgeous either way!

Beautiful images!

It was -26 here Monday morning at 6:00 am. I live about 60 miles north of Detroit. Detroit had an official temperature of -10 but the weather underground app on my phone said it was -26 where I live, so I got on a government web site to check, and indeed, in Saint Clair County, Michigan at the small airport about 8 miles north of me, it was MINUS 26 F actual temperature, NOT wind chill. I think they are used to this in Minnesota and parts of Canada, but I'm leaving my facets running at night here.....

Thank you for sharing, Jessica! Impressive frozen beauty, well done. I would love to be there.....:)

Beautiful! Looks like Arendelle. "Let it go...let it go..." Okay, I'll shut up now.

Wow, I especially like the multicolored image! If I lived anywhere near these falls, I would rush over there (well, maybe drive carefully).

It was frigid...but sooo worth seeing it. If you go tho, where gloves with fingers (not mittens) so you can shoot with them on....my husband's hands were frozen because he wore mittens and had to keep taking them off. People are coming from all over just to see this. It is not totally frozen over, but still a beautiful sight...I had wanted to go for years before I finally did. If you go tho, you may not want to come tomorrow (Thurs) as the high temp is only going to be -5 to Zero and the windchills will be brutal especially at the falls because the winds are much higher there. Me and my husband may go on Sunday as it's supposed to be about 30 degrees... we haven't seen the 30's in probably over a month. It's been a brutal Winter.
