Power Through Art - Struggling To Survive An Invisible And Deadly Disease

I am truly greatful for the power of art!
I suffer from an invisible yet life threatening condition called Gastroparesis, which has reduced me to 80lbs, causes constant pain, and impairs my ability to digest food, and perform bodily functions. There is no cure at this time, which leaves me in a sort of medical limbo. I use my artwork to work through the chaos. It's an incredible outlet, channeling feelings wishes; there are days where words cannot describe the amount of fear within me, so getting it on paper in another way helps, or I can distract myself from the condition, transporting myself to a world of lines and color.
I'm hoping to make a few sales to help cover my day to day medical costs. Should you be looking to add a little artwork into your home, or need custom artwork created such as tattoo, logo, ect, feel free to contact me and/or explore my gallery. It would be greatly appreciated through this scary period.

It would not only make a lovely wall hanging, it would make a great phone case and duvet cover. I hope you get lots of sales. :)

Jessica-Faye Watters…..how terrible. Thanks for sharing your health story. I read about the disease. I was curious about what you eat. You can inbox me, I see in their nutritional guide that food suggested should not even be there. Your photograph work is very nice.

Jessica have you tried curcumin? It's a natural ingredient found in the common cooking spice Turmeric. If you care to give it a try let me know I'll get some to you for free and it's high quality turmeric. Best Of Luck!

Widely used throughout Asia for generations, curcumin is a natural compound found in turmeric that boasts many substantial medical benefits. Research has shown that, in addition to inhibiting the growth of certain cancer cells, curcumin supplements may also act as a memory enhancer and improve the overall health of middle-aged individuals.

With each new study, it seems that the clinical applications of curcumin supplements continue to expand. Recently, a team of Chinese researchers discovered that administering curcumin to diabetic rats may be able to counter a condition called gastroparesis. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, this disorder – which is also referred to as delayed gastric emptying – occurs when when the stomach muscles that transfer food to the small intestine don't function as they should.

Looks like I may have a referal to a specialist in Hamilaton; so fingers are crossed. I asked my family doctor about Curcumin and he told me to wait until I see the new specalist to sort of have a base starting point to work with. It means the world that ppl took the time to understand my medical situation.

This piece has two points of influence:
1. being my own emotiontional state while dealing with my chronic health issues.
"I am like glass, once clean and clear
my dreams and life so bright
I was full,
not just half full,
but full
Some time's with sweetness
other times, bitterness

Then the crack came, not seen at first
perhaps if it was we would do thing different
Broken promises, broken dreams;
shards of my life lie scattered before me.
I can see through each piece
Things I could have done,
People I could've been
And occasionally I'm cut.

I can't always see the depth of the wound,
and I don't always feel it,
but the cuts bleed regardless,
and as time passes, so does bits of myself
Now I'm clouded and worn

Cracks show through,
every tired line beneath an eye
Plans and dreams leaking
through cracks in the surface

So I try my best not to cut
those around me,
with my now sharp edges."

2.song "Shatter me" by Lindsey Stirling.
(Chorus)
"Somebody shine a light
I'm frozen by the fear in me
Somebody make me feel alive
And shatter me
So cut me from the line
Dizzy, spinning endlessly
Somebody make me feel alive
And shatter me"
