New To Faa- Just Popped In To Say Hello

So hello all! Slowly adding my art work and enjoying being part of FAA.

Any top tips/advice for a newbie?

Thanks in advance

Claire

Hi Claire,

As you're uploading, make sure each image is sharp and clear at full resolution, make sure you have a good title and description, and spend some time adding relevant keywords to each image. It's tough to go back and do all that later, and is well worth the effort to do it right the first time you upload.

Someone here once said to make your descriptions complete but not wordy, like you're describing the image to someone who is visually impaired "A lone stag stands in a field of green and gold grasses contrasted against a stark blue sky" That kind of thing.

Images like your Red Stag Deer image may not print, as it's noisy and looks like you've enlarged it. Be wary of blowing pictures up to try to get high enough resolution to print.
