Are we allowed to solicit in the forums? I have some Ebay items I could start promoting here.

Maybe not. I'm not sure. I've offered textures in the past in the texture group and someone always post here in the big group. Thought I would go direct this time. But I can see if this is a problem. May get booted quick. Don't mean to spam anyone. I'll contact one of the admins. =)

Edward, if they suit artists, (textures, backgrounds, images etc) please go ahead. We are happy with long term members offering things to other members if it could help the artist. It is only the newbies coming straight in and 'demanding' money we are not happy with.

Yeah the newbies should have to work the corner like the rest of us :) Sorry I am blaming my comment on having a slight head ache.

Got mine! They are gorgeous huge files, several are perfectly suited to compliment pantone's 2015 colors.

Here's an image I used one of Jean's textures on from earlier this year. I shifted the tones of the original texture and added to this.

Also, I think since faa does not sell textures and many of us use textures in our work, I think this is a perfect forum to tell people about them. I see this as no different from letting people know Topaz software or camera gear has gone on sale.

So, I've had this feather for awhile but hadn't decided what I wanted it to be yet, until last night/finished up today. I started out with Artisan Smokey texture which is a gorgeous smokey gray blending up to lighter shades, not that you could tell it now necessarily but originally I was thinking to have this all black and white. Ended with a warm/cool filter in addition to a few other steps to get to this point. I don't think it would have worked as well with a texture that had color, but this seems to have given the image the depth it needed. I'm really please with the final outcome and look forward to using the others, which may or may not be recognizable when I'm done!

These textures also work wonderfully if you are a digital painter too. Here is a digital painting I did where I use #2 Artisan Paint Texture 12.23.
