Featured Homepage Artwork

One of my images has this phrase posted above it.
I don't see it on the homepage, hence, my quandary.
Anyone have a clue what it means?

Do we still have a Homepage? Can't find the tab! Lol
Maybe your Feature is due to be , um, featured, "soon"?

Yep. Tab is gone. Click on logo.

It's a breadcrumb.

If you have been to the featured homepage and wish to go back there, click to go back. If you go elsewhere you should not see it

I never go to the home page. Why is it showing up?

Abbie Shores

No idea. Sorry... I have not got a clue.....

Yes Marlene - I see this on my photo pages regularly. Unfortunately it is just another opportunity for a customer you directed to your FAA site to leave and find another artist.

It was above this image of mine this morning. I was excited to see it because I thought I got a Homepage Feature, but, I checked back later and it wasn't there. Oh well.

Gee, Dave, I hope you are wrong....I'll wait for Abbie to find out from the boss.

I see it often, too. Have never been able to figure out why.

I usually see "Oh My" applied as a suffix to "lions and tigers and bears" occasionally used also as a prefix to cacti apparently.

It always has been a breadcrumb before...... I will be 'at work' soon

Passed it on

Hi Marlene,
Well, two of mine had that 'homepage featured art' notice - but - now I've revisited them, those 'words/feature' have disappeared.......boohoo..........lotsa disappearing these days !
If it happens again, I've bookmarked this thread, thanks for the bump.

I bumped it p because of a theory you presented in a PM, Vivian...I checked mine and they were not featured in private groups at the time...and yes, they DO disappear and reappear on different images....

Hello Marelene it sure would be nice if sales appear as much as all the bread crumbs you collect...smiling. cheers, Michael

I have seen that, too ... didn't pay much attention ... just figured it was a way of saying I'd featured the image on my own home page but didn't even bother to check ... or even check to see if the phrase was a link and what it led to ...

< putting head back into the sand, now .. >

If you're quick, this one's Featured H.Page today, thank you, FAA

Sell Art Online

Just clicked "Featured Home page"on someone's new upload.....secret revealed....that Featured, etc, is an FAAlive link to........FAAHomepage, away from our upload page. That's the clue......
It's baaaack!...intermittently!

Dave Dilli got it right, 12 days ago.....

I was just about to post the same question, because I had the same experience. I thought I'd been featured, now I have a sad.

I logged in just now, and scrolled through the recent sales, clicked on one I liked, and saw the link on it
Art Prints

It sucks if that link is just to take a visitor away from our stuff, sending them to the homepage. If that's the case, FAA should add a dialog box when someone clicks the "buy" button asking "Are you sure you want to buy this image?" And again "Are you really really sure? Look through our collections first!"

Edit: and now the link is gone from the top of the page.

I actually figured this out once upon a time. The breadcrumb appears like that based upon where you were before on the website. I can't recall the sequence to reproduce it right now...
