Ronald, i read your now closed thread, "Is This Possible And..." and saw that the suggestion was to open a discussion group...
That idea of having a place for topics/subjects that are not wanted in the main forums was tried in the now defunct group forum named;
“If You Cant’ Stand The Heat”, it failed and ghettoized the topics because of the lack of viewing traffic that the main discussion threads have and lost any and all spontaneity…
Within the year it was reduced to a argumentative few participants who just kept rehashing the same old views and arguments…
in order for topical and meaningful discussions to evolve one must have diversity and fresh eyes... So in my opinion group discussions threads are just to limiting for what you want.
