I could not agree more! If I get an email telling me voting is open, and there's no link to the contest, that email gets an immediate dose of the delete key.
Since most people seem to enter the contests for the exposure and not the win, (which the vote solicitors have tied up anyway), and therefor enter a lot of them, who the heck has the time to go digging to see which contest is open for voting?
