Just a heads up that my name will be changing here shortly. This is a legal change as I hated my old name severely, I was never findable on Google under it and... well, I like change, (as you probably can tell with my constantly changing avatars). It has been changed for a week or two now but I was worried about doing it here and elsewhere. However, I am doing it as soon as possible as it will make it easier for me just to do it and not worry about it.
I will not be upset if people continue to call me Beth LOL as I know changes can be hard when it is people
So, just a heads up. and, thank you to Pari Chumroo who actually chose it for me when I was looking for the new name :))
Isabella Francesca Abigail Shores
(Shores is the name I was brought up with)
Most people who already were in it with me are calling me Abbie
You may recall, I was going to change my first name just because I didn't like it all that much. I changed everything and then just as I was about to go to do it legally, my sons, my Aunt, even old boyfriends....all got upset with me and begged me not to change it, so I didn't.
Wow! When you went for a change you made it a big one! lol! Hello, Isabella!
that's a really long impossible to remember name... just letting you know... i'm still calling you beth.
if i change my name it will probably be Mike - but in lower case letters mike. simple. i was named Michael, but i found it was too long to spell accurately, so i made it smaller, i still leave out letters. maybe i'll just be called M, but then i'd need to wear a suit all the time.
that would be awesome so many cool toys and wars i could start.
so beth, how long will it take you to tire of the long version of your name and shorten it to a easier to write version? i can see name boxes and checks being a problem, unless they have more space across the pond. hear in the US they are impossibly small.

Well, Beth, if I may continue calling you that, as mentioned in another thread, I do prefer your old name. I've always thought it was a beautiful name and it was, in fact, one we were considering if our son had been a girl.
Darice, as I am a bit of a weird looking person in the real world (all long dresses and shawls, duo toned long hair and no make up) I was told by someone here that it was 'SO much more you than stuffy Elizabeth' LOL
Abbie, your former name always brought to mind the senator's wife here in the US. Now you have a name that is uniquely yours. I've known others who have been brave enough to try name changes, and the changes always seem to suit them best in the long run. I guess nobody knows you like you do.
Keep the Italian parts, they'll google well. Not sure why a nice Italian girl would want such a British sounding name as "Abbie Shores". But, Lisabetta Eduoardinini, it's whatever makes you happy (that you can spell)
