Sold Original Oil Paintings

My oil paintings are my way of looking at the memories and culture of the West -- memories and reflections of the ways of life I have experienced during the many years I have lived in a log cabin near Saratoga, Wyoming. Some originals are still available but most are sold, so you can enjoy them as high quality reproductions from Fine Art America! I am greatly influenced by Native American art and stories. I lived among the Navajo and Hopi on the Arizona deserts for five years as a teenager, and have also spent time on the Rosebud and Wind River Reservations with the Lakota and Arapaho tribes. American Indian legends and myth are a great inspiration for my oil paintings. Some of these paintings are studies for my ongoing "Lakota Moons" series of woodcuts.
