Underwater Images On Display At Smithsonian
December 20th, 2014 - New York, NY
In October, 2014, Carl Salonen was notified by the Smithsonian Institute's Museum of Natural History that seven of his underwater photographs were to be displayed in a year-long exhibit called "Portraits of Planet Ocean," celebrating and curated by noted photographer, Brian Skerry.
Mr. Salonen commented, "I have long been a fan of Brian Skerry's work and am thrilled beyond words that he picked some of my photographs to appear alongside his in such a prestigious exhibit in such an august setting. Just think: the President of the United States might actually see one of my photographs!"
Mr. Salonen's photos will remain in a rotating display until Fall 2015.
