Paint On The Wall Exhibit Of Works By Shawn Vincelette Arrives At The Pavilion Of The City Of Marion, Illinois

On Thursday April 17, 2014, the Pavilion of the City of Marion will present the latest installment in their Art & Soul series of artist installations.

Paint On the Wall is an exhibition of new works from artist Shawn Vincelette. The large scale heavy acrylic paintings are the inspiration for the name of the show. Featuring a variety of subjects and styles, the collection is a glimpse into the artist's creative exploration of expression.

In addition to the featured works which will remain on display through July 2014, the artist will have limited edition prints and mini prints from the Marion landmarks Series; a collection of eighteen drawings inspired by Marion's past.

The artist will be offering the original rendering of, "Mike asks, "Under or over?" in a silent auction during the reception; the proceeds from which will be donated to support "Middle Child, INC. - The Mike Strang Scholarship Foundation."
