FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Joseph C. Hinson Photography and Joe the Photog Dot Com are pleased to announce three new Limited Time Promotions. "These three images are all from South Carolina," Hinson said proudly. One is from my hometown and another is from the area I live in currently. They are three iconic images each showing a different aspect of South Carolina history."

The first image was made on Opening Day of the baseball season in 2011 at Carolina Stadium, the home of the then-reigning NCAA Baseball National Champion South Carolina Gamecocks. Starting pitcher Michael Roth has the Santa Clara player leaning back toward first as he gets ready to deliver a pitch. South Carolina pulled away late to win 12 to 5.

"If you've ever been a South Carolina baseball game," Hinson said, "you know they take their sport and their team seriously. "There were more than 8,000 people at that game in mid-Febriary."

Fine Art America has manufactured a large quantity of stretched canvases in seven standard sizes. Since they manufacturer these sizes in bulk, we are able to offer them for sale at substantially reduced prices: With my reduced mark-up, these images can be purchased for nearly half price the regular price. It's a win-win for all parties involved! These LTPs are being offered at 20X16, though Hinson says he will offer at either a smaller or a larger size if you would prefer.

The second Limited Time Promotion is of a rare snowy day in Columbia from 2010 showing the famous Adluh Flour Mill in the heart of the city. "Columbia's motto is "famously hot. Not so much on this day," Hinson said with a chuckle. "Columbia takes a lot of pride in having such a historic operation such as Adluh Flour still as a working mill. It's a favorite landmark of many in the area."

The remaining promotion is a shot of the Lancaster and Chester Railway in Hinson's hometown. "It's an interesting shot to me," Hinson said, "because they were still just a few years into operating the old Southern line down to Kershaw. But also they still had the smaller switcher engines doing most of the work. They've since upgraded their motive power and replaced most of these little engines."

The three Limited Time Promotions end on February 24, 2015 at 5 pm EST.
