New Richmond, WI (August 25, 2014) – Discover the music in your own backyard, Friday night September 5th as Jam: Two Passions Collides makes a road trip to The SPACE for a night of music, photos, and food in testament to the success of a simple idea made possible by the passion music inspires in all of us.
Jam: Two Passions Collide is a visual tribute to the power of music made possible by a successful Kickstarter campaign. Award-winning photographer, Tom Lindfors, explores the relationship between musicians and their music through a series of beautifully intimate portraits. From Grammy-winning bass player/producer David Gonzalez to ten-year-old blues harmonicist Neava Bestul, Lindfors honors the skill and dedication of musicians brought together by the age-old tradition of the jam. A tiny town in northwestern Wisconsin, home to the Star Prairie Jam proves great music has no borders. Jam celebrates the enduring passion of musicians everywhere who play for the pure love of music and the communities who embrace them.
Doors open at 7 p.m. Open to the public. Conversation with the artist at 8 p.m.
